Post Date - Dec 19, 2025
Each December, communities across the country come together to remember fallen heroes, honor those who serve, and teach future generations about the cost of freedom. On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Roehl Transport once again joined volunteers nationwide in support of National Wreaths Across America Day, contributing both transportation support and volunteer service to ensure veterans were honored with wreaths at their final resting places.
A Tradition Roehl Is Proud to Continue
Roehl has maintained a long-standing connection to Wreaths Across America, supporting ceremonies locally and nationally each year. In 2025, that commitment continued through the delivery of wreaths to participating cemeteries in Wisconsin and Georgia, as well as to Arlington National Cemetery. This marked the first year Roehl was involved in transporting wreaths directly to Arlington — a meaningful milestone in the company’s ongoing support of the organization’s mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach.
Supporting the Mission Through Action
On December 13, Roehl drivers hauled loads of wreaths to multiple cemeteries, helping ensure ceremonies could proceed as planned across the country. In addition to transportation support, Roehl team members volunteered their time on-site, joining thousands of others to place wreaths on the graves of veterans.
At Arlington National Cemetery alone, more than 260,000 wreaths were placed during the ceremony. Roehl volunteers who participated at Arlington included CEO Rick Roehl, Tamie Roehl, Director of Pay & Benefits Services, Tim Norlin, Vice President of Driver Employment, Amanda Worthen, Director of Driver Employment, David Eder, Military & Field Recruiter, Tim Rader, Certified Driver Trainer, and Charles Jones, a driver and 2025 Transition Trucking: Driving to Excellence Award winner. Their participation reflected Roehl’s commitment to honoring service members not only through words, but through meaningful action.
The National Impact of Wreaths Across America
Wreaths Across America began in 1992 with a small act of remembrance at Arlington National Cemetery and has since grown into a nationwide movement. Each year, millions of volunteers across thousands of locations come together to place wreaths and preserve the legacy of those who served.
Wreath Across America’s guiding mission — Remember, Honor, Teach — continues to shape ceremonies nationwide, ensuring that the sacrifices of veterans are never forgotten and that future generations understand the significance of service.
A Deep Connection to Veterans
Many Roehl drivers, associates, and family members have served in the military or maintain close ties to those who have. Supporting Wreaths Across America aligns closely with Roehl’s values and reflects a deep respect for the men and women who have worn the nation’s uniform.
Through wreath deliveries, volunteer efforts, and continued support of the organization, Roehl remains committed to honoring veterans and preserving their stories.
Looking Ahead With Gratitude
Each year, Roehl’s participation in Wreaths Across America strengthens connections with the communities we serve and reinforces a commitment to remembrance and gratitude. The 2025 ceremony served as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when people and organizations come together in service of a shared mission.
Roehl looks forward to continuing its support of Wreaths Across America and honoring the nation’s heroes in the years ahead.
